Privacy Policy

Pure LS (purels.app) is a fan-run classic Lost Saga private server. This page says what we collect when you use the website, the launcher and the game, and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you sign in with Discord or Google. We get your account ID with that service, your email address and your Discord username or Google name. We do not get your Discord or Google password, and we cannot post or act for you on either service.

When you make your account. The account name and nickname you pick.

When you sign up. Your IP address, kept for one day to stop mass sign-ups.

When you play. Your game data (heroes, items, Peso, match results and similar) and when you log in to the game. The game servers see your IP address while you are connected.

How we use it

• To log you in on the website, in the launcher and in the game.
• To link your Discord or Google account to your game account, so either one can sign you in.
• To help you when you ask for support, for example finding your account by your Discord username.
• To stop cheating, abuse and spam.

Game log-ins (your nickname and account name) may be posted in a channel on the Pure LS Discord server.

We do not sell your data, show ads or use tracking or analytics tools. We do not send you email.

Google user data

With Google sign-in we ask only for your basic profile and email address (the "openid", "email" and "profile" scopes). We use them only to sign you in and to link your account, as above, and we do not share them with anyone else. Pure LS's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Cookies

The website uses only the cookies it needs to work: one that keeps you logged in (30 days, or until you log out) and short-lived ones during a Discord or Google sign-in. No ad or tracking cookies.

Who else handles it

• Cloudflare runs the website and its account service.
• Neon stores the website's account database.
• Our game server host runs the game servers and the game database.
• Discord and Google, when you choose to sign in with them (their own privacy policies apply there).
• Google Fonts serves the website's fonts, so your browser connects to Google when a page loads.

How long we keep it

Account and game data: while your account exists. Log-ins on the website: 30 days. Sign-up IP addresses: one day.

Your choices

You can unlink Discord or Google on your account page, and you can remove Pure LS from your Discord or Google account settings at any time. To get a copy of your data, have it corrected, or have your account and its data deleted, ask us in the Pure LS Discord.

Children

Pure LS is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child under 13 has an account, tell us in the Discord and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page.
